Sustainable Business Success Through Human-Centered Analytics

Lene Health (Lene Health UG) supports companies in conducting psychological risk assessments in accordance with Sections 4–6 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act. Using a GDPR-compliant platform with a scientifically developed questionnaire, work-related stressors (including job requirements, work content, communication/cooperation, work organization, and ergonomics) are assessed. Health experts evaluate the results and provide anonymized reports with prioritized recommendations for action and effectiveness monitoring—with the goal of retaining employees, developing organizations, and promoting sustainable business success through human-centered analytics.

Use Case

Since 2013, companies in Germany have been required to conduct mental health risk assessments (PGB) (Sections 4–6 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act). Lene Health handles the entire process: from anonymous, GDPR-compliant employee surveys and data analysis to a final report outlining specific areas for action and providing support for implementation. The goal is to professionally meet legal requirements, identify mental strain and burnout risks, derive preventive measures, and support organizational development based on data. Typical challenges: lack of internal resources/expertise for PGB, uncertainty regarding methodology and documentation, need for benchmarks and sector-specific analyses (e.g., healthcare, remote work, technostress).

Lene Health supports companies in implementing and documenting the psychologically-related risk assessment (GB-Psych), which is legally required in Germany. Typical problems: increasing stress due to increased workload, deadline pressure, interruptions, information overload, technostress, and new forms of work (e.g., remote work). The service aims to systematically identify stressors, evaluate them anonymously, derive concrete measures, and document the process in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (ArbSchG)—including benchmarks and a recurring evaluation of effectiveness. In this way, companies reduce risks, fulfill their documentation obligations, and promote the health, satisfaction, and performance of their employees.

Target Audience

Employers in Germany with 1 or more employees; HR/People & Culture departments; executive management; occupational safety and health and workplace health management (BGM) officers; particularly relevant for organizations with distributed teams, the care and healthcare sectors, and knowledge-intensive industries with technology-related stressors; companies that wish to fulfill their legal workplace health management (PGB) obligations efficiently and professionally while simultaneously enhancing their employer brand and strengthening preventive measures.
