Retention & deletion
Indeed retains personal data for which it is the controller until it is no longer needed for its purpose, retention is required by law, or deletion is requested. Account management data is generally retained for the lifetime of the account; legal requirements may require longer retention. Where Indeed processes data on behalf of a controller, it stores the data until the controller instructs it to delete it. Employers are responsible for meeting their own record-retention obligations for application materials.
Indeed provides GDPR-related information and legal bases, as well as descriptions of mechanisms for international data transfers. These may be available through contractual agreements.
